The Activation Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving customer success and revenue growth at ActiveCampaign. This position requires a unique blend of customer-facing skills, sales acumen, and technical expertise to effectively engage with prospects and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Respond promptly to customer inquiries via live chat and tickets, providing clear and accurate information to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify potential larger opportunities during customer interactions, recognizing situations requiring sales expertise and capitalizing on transactional opportunities.
  • Sales Partnership: Collaborate with the sales team to provide necessary information, assist in the pursuit and closure of deals arising from customer engagements, and support the sales process by offering context and relevant details.
  • Transactional Deal Closure: Utilize effective sales tactics to close transactional deals, understand and address customer needs and preferences, and navigate the sales process efficiently to meet individual and team goals.
  • Continuous Process Improvement: Provide feedback on customer queries for process optimization, collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, and regularly review and update strategy based on performance analysis.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Marketing, Communications) preferred, but not required.
  • 0-1 year experience in a customer-facing role (Sales/Success experience preferred).
  • Familiarity with SaaS/Martech industry, understanding of key trends, and knowledge of competitive landscape (Preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving commercial strategies, changing market conditions, and dynamic/varied customer needs.
  • Proven ability to address challenges, objections, and obstacles.
  • Commitment to achieving results and a history of taking initiative to drive success.
  • Understanding/experience in adopting a customer-centric mindset, focusing on customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends, commercial methodologies, and product knowledge.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Experience using technology and software tools, as the role involves showcasing the product and using internal systems.
