Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Transport Operations Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our transport services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote a safety-first culture, ensuring commitment to safety and compliance with licensing protocols.
  • Ensure appropriate resourcing for transport operations, including containers, sub-contractors, trailers, and equipment.
  • Provide operational oversight, developing and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) that meet contractual requirements.
  • Identify and address transport risks through continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Manage load planning and delivery using a Transport Management System (TMS).
  • Develop strong customer relationships to drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in complex logistics environments.
  • Prior experience in load optimization, planning, and executing shipments in a TMS system.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to lead, drive outcomes, and develop high-performance teams.
  • Understanding of financial drivers and cost control.
  • Strong work ethic and passion for transport/logistics.
