The Senior Trading Underwriter is responsible for contributing to the creation and execution of an effective strategy for product(s).

Key responsibilities include using extensive market and product knowledge to inform risk appetite and pricing decisions, having accountability for financial performance, leading and managing a team of underwriters, and driving trading activity through new and existing relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

This role carries strategic input and financial responsibility, requiring a deep understanding of sophisticated pricing practices and methodologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the legal, regulatory, and compliance provisions that apply to the UK motor insurance market.
