Enterprise Governance Specialist
\Your role as an Enterprise Governance Specialist may involve:
\- Providing strategic guidance on enterprise risk management and governance activities to lead a team and support senior leaders across the organisation.
\- Leading and coordinating the development of enterprise risk management and governance activities, such as internal and external audits, business continuity planning, complaints management, to enhance these processes across the organisation.
\- Preparing comprehensive reports, briefing notes, and verbal briefings that offer insights and recommendations to Senior Leaders and risk owners.
\- Building and maintaining strong relationships with risk owners, senior leaders, and stakeholders through regular engagements, providing guidance and promoting good governance and enterprise risk management practices.
\- Coaching and mentoring the team to continuously improve. Analysing and challenging current systems, governance, and enterprise risk management practices and procedures, where needed developing new processes and tools that will be embedded into the core business.
\As an Enterprise Governance Specialist, you will be supported by a positive, constructive team and divisional leaders as you do your work.
\To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
\- Experience and expertise in leading and managing the development and implementation of good governance and enterprise risk management practices and processes.
\- High-level negotiation, consultation, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build positive and productive working relationships with staff at all levels within the organisation.
\- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy.
\- Your experience as it relates to the key responsibilities of the role.
