Job Title: Principal Policy Officer

Our department is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Policy Officer to lead the development of our risk management and reporting function. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who can make a significant contribution to our team.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication, organisational, coordination and project management skills to manage significant change initiatives. They must also be a critical and strategic thinker, able to analyse risks and issues, and possess exceptional high-level written skills, with the ability to translate complex information effectively and make informed recommendations to executives.

As a key member of our team, the Principal Policy Officer will contribute to fostering an inclusive workplace and team culture, and establish strong links with business areas and key risk stakeholders across the department. They will also be responsible for producing high-level written reports, briefs, presentations, submissions and advice to executives and governance committees.
