Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough pre-start checks on equipment
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment
  • Repair diesel equipment such as LHDs and Drift Runners
  • Adhere to policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Field Service Trades Mechanical and Electrical – Coal Cutting/Face Machinery experience
  • 4 on 3 off rostering with overtime in the Hunter Region
  • Possibility of weekend roster
  • Face Machinery experience required
  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Current driver's license
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Coal Board medical
  • Exceptional work ethic
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet company goals
  • Understanding of drawings and project scope of works

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Coal Board Medical
  • Forklift license
