Job Overview

The Mechanical Engineer role is integral to delivering high-quality solutions for power generation projects. This involves ensuring adherence to installation codes, regulations, and standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design Review: Review mechanical designs, including P&I diagrams and general arrangements.
  • Familiarity with gas and steam turbine construction is required, including knowledge of skids, modules, piping, valves, structures, etc.
  • Auxiliary Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with main power plant auxiliary components, including lubrication systems, fuel gas systems, air cooling systems, and other auxiliary equipment.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure mechanical system designs comply with all applicable installation codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Coordinate support to field engineers and provide clarification on procedures for equipment supplied by the organization.
  • Interpretation and Application: Interpret and apply codes and standards, as well as customer design requirements, to prepare mechanical erection and commissioning procedures.
  • Conduct extensive document verification to deliver a complete set of mechanical procedures.
  • Project Management: Manage time efficiently to meet submission deadlines.
  • Procedure Development: Create Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and manage the internal CAPA system for team processes.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Elaborate technical reports, presentations, and research documentation for projects and initiatives related to the Mechanical discipline.
  • Site Support: Provide procedures clarification on construction sites to ensure projects are constructed according to specific designs and local standards.
