The Mechanical Engineer 1 position is a pivotal role in the development and assurance of quality procedures for various power generation projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Review mechanical engineering designs, including P&I diagrams, general arrangements, and structural drawings.
  • Assess gas and steam turbine construction knowledge, including skids, modules, piping, valves, structures, etc.
  • Knowledge of main power plant auxiliary components, including Lubrication system, Fuel Gas system, Air cooling systems, and other auxiliary equipment.
  • Ensure mechanical system designs comply with all applicable installation codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Coordinate support to field engineers, including clarification of procedures for equipment supplied by corporate.
  • Correctly interpret and apply codes and standards and customer design requirements to prepare mechanical erection and commissioning procedures.
  • Conduct document verification and manage time efficiently to meet submission dates.
  • Participate in a collaborative work environment and plan Standard Operating Procedures.
