Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in Parramatta. As a key member of our payroll team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all payroll services are executed efficiently, accurately, and timely in accordance with legislative authorities.
Key Responsibilities- Support and facilitate new Enterprise Agreement transitions and renewals.
- Manage payroll controls, including Site User Guides, Quick Reference Guides, pay rates matrices, and other associated documents.
- Facilitate and manage terminated Enterprise Agreements and decommissioning processes.
- Review and update pay rates for Annual Wage Reviews and National Minimum Wage increases.
- E nsure accurate tax and super preparation, reconciliation of payments, and reporting through Single Touch Payroll.
- Participate in monthly salary payroll audits and update relevant superannuation thresholds and maximum contributions base annually.
- Extensive experience in end-to-end payroll processing, including master data, 3rd party deductions, payroll reconciliations, processing, and disbursement.
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal and modern awards, Enterprise Agreements, statutory payroll legislation governing superannuation, taxation, payments, and deductions.
- High level of attention to detail, initiative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Sound knowledge and experience in the use of SAP payroll preferred.
- An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex, fast-paced environment with high volume and tight deadlines.

The estimated salary range for this position is AU$70,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
