Payroll Compliance Specialist

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join Ventia as a Payroll Compliance Specialist, where you will support the payroll compliance functions and projects ensuring all Payroll Services are executed efficiently, accurately, and timely in accordance with relating legislative authorities and fully compliant within Australia.
About You
- You will have extensive experience in end-to-end payroll processing, including master data, 3rd party deductions, payroll reconciliations, processing and disbursement.
- You will have comprehensive knowledge of federal and modern awards, Enterprise Agreements, statutory payroll legislation governing superannuation, taxation, payments and deductions and other relevant policies.
- High level of attention to detail, initiative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Sound knowledge and experience in the use of SAP payroll preferred.
- Ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex and fast-paced environment that involves high volume and tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
- Support and facilitate new EA transitions and renewal of existing EA.
- Manage payroll controls with Site User Guide, Quick Reference Guide, Pay rates matrix and other associated documents and templates to support payroll compliance in all payroll processes and practices.
- Facilitate and manage terminated EA's and decommission of EA's.
- Support the review and pay rate update process for Annual Wage Review and National Minimum Wage increase each year.
- Ensure tax and super preparation, reconciliation of payment and reporting of same (Single Touch Payroll) is completed accurately.
- Support salary payroll monthly audits and update of relevant superannuation thresholds and maximum contributions base annually.
