Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned HVAC Supervisor to lead our team of technicians and deliver high-quality services that meet contract requirements and design specifications.

The role involves assisting with project planning, providing leadership, managing HVAC service execution, evaluating progress, monitoring safety practices, overseeing crew organization and compliance, and enhancing crew performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Collaborate with the project team to identify key success factors, timing for design and procurement deliverables, and establish common work breakdown structures.
  • Leadership: Lead the creation of organizational structures and processes to effectively execute HVAC services; ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • HVAC Service Execution: Oversee HVAC services to meet contract requirements, design specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Evaluation and Advice: Continuously evaluate progress, advising the project team on status, issues, risks, and cost factors of ongoing scope.
  • Safety Practices: Oversee safety orientations, indoctrinations, and crew safety; coach to improve safety practices.
  • Crew Organization and Compliance: Monitor crew structure, sizing, mix, and wage regulation compliance.
  • Cost Management: Review and monitor cost budgets for HVAC installation and adjust as needed to stay within limits.
  • Resource Planning: Plan staffing, facilities, equipment, and tools to meet project needs and allocate resources effectively.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures for installations and repairs.
  • Team Communication: Ensure clear communication within the team and with other project stakeholders.
  • Crew Performance Enhancement: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • US or Australian citizenship
  • US TS/SCI Clearance w/Poly, or Australian PV clearance
  • Minimum seven years of HVAC technician experience
  • Minimum three years of supervisory experience
  • Journeyman or Master HVAC License, or Australian equivalent
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Attention to detail; precision to ensure high-quality service and safety compliance
  • Adaptability to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements
  • Decision-making ability to resolve issues quickly under pressure
