About Our IT Support Role
">- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Officer to fill this part-time position.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in the IT field and TAFE/Tertiary or equivalent IT qualifications/experience. They should be able to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues with ease and possess knowledge of Windows and Apple operating systems, Microsoft Office, and basic audio-visual systems.
">Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full support for students, staff, and property on an ongoing basis.
- Perform minor repair and maintenance tasks as required to ensure optimal IT system performance.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in the IT field, preferably in an educational environment.
- TAFE/Tertiary or equivalent IT qualifications/experience.
- Demonstrated ability to support and troubleshoot complex technical issues with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with industry-standard IT software and hardware.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience working in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of school-specific systems (e.g., SEQTA, SchoolPro, MYOB).
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft support credentials are highly valued.
The successful applicant will actively promote the objectives and ethos of Christian Education as articulated in the Vision and Mission of the School. They must also be able to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including students of all ages and teaching and non-teaching staff.
About This Opportunity
This is a part-time position that will cover parental leave. The selected candidate will work closely with our IT team to ensure seamless delivery of IT services to our students and staff.
