The role entails the administration of contracts within a commercial or residential construction, fit out, and refurb sector environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of subcontractor tender packages, scope of works, contract documentation, and procurement schedules.
- Preparation of head contract progress claims, including any necessary evaluation and submission of variations.
- Administration of both upstream and downstream aspects, with a focus on managing downstream relationships.
- Head contract administration, encompassing the preparation of monthly costs reports for presentation to the Construction Manager.
- Administration of RFIs with clients and consultants.
- Assisting the Project Manager with daily operations, including team management.
- Maintaining project document control and building relationships with suppliers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years' experience as a Contract Administrator.
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
