Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Contract Administration Specialist to join our organization at the project level.

  • Mentor and support project commercial teams to enhance performance.
  • Oversee the implementation and management of systems to ensure consistent compliance and operational alignment across all project teams.
  • Contribute to the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational efficiency and foster mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Act as a critical liaison between the pre and post contract award phases to ensure a smooth, structured, and thorough transition to project teams.
  • Support and oversee subcontractor management processes, including risk-based evaluation, subcontract agreement review, variation assistance, and compliance monitoring.
  • Ensure accuracy of subcontractor payments schedules within Payapps and compliance to relevant state payment act.
  • Support and monitor project close-out activities, including Practical Completion certification, bank guarantee recovery, and release of cash retention.
  • Demonstrate and support the assessment of head contract claim entitlements by ensuring systematic, comprehensive, and consistent record-keeping practices.
  • Presents insights at commercial meetings, including lessons learned and legislative updates.
About You - Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 10+ years working on projects at a main contractor level.
  • An undergraduate qualification in quantity surveying, contract administration, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Australian construction contract law and regulations, specifically for Queensland and NSW.
  • High competency working in Jobpac.
  • Skills in operating other software such as Payapps, Procore, EstimateOne, ProcurePro, 1Breadcrumb, and Docusign.

Please note that site visits will be required on occasion, and a valid Australian drivers license is essential.
