Project Contract Manager Job Opportunity

Job Overview

Our company is seeking an experienced Project Contract Manager to join our team on the Gold Coast Light Rail project.

The successful candidate will be accountable for leading the development, implementation, and proactive management of contract and risk mitigation strategies, aligned with business objectives.

  • Applying contract, claims, and insurance management best practices.
  • Collaborating with the project team to prepare the Contract Management Strategy Plan.
  • Monitoring work to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including tracking the project schedule to meet contractual milestones.
Key Responsibilities

The Project Contract Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing extensions of time (EOTs), variation orders, and contract amendments.
  • Ensuring meticulous record-keeping and robust file preparation for the project.
  • Establishing and implementing project-specific commercial procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary degree in Law, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
  • Extensive experience in contract and claims management in railway, infrastructure, or construction projects.
  • Ability to anticipate and manage conflicting priorities.
