Portfolio Manager Job Description

The Senior Portfolio Manager will be responsible for effectively managing and maximising the performance of a portfolio of assets. This includes:

  • Overseeing the presentation, maintenance and compliance of the portfolio.
  • Building and maintaining close relationships with clients and tenants of the assets.
  • Assisting clients with the leasing of the portfolio, achieving and maintaining a zero-vacancy level.
  • Preparation of all related contracts, reports, budgets, reconciliations, correspondence and documentation.
  • Proactively managing income and expenditure, as well as financial reporting requirements for clients.
  • Supervision of tenancy fit outs to ensure consistency and compliance with building objectives.
  • Compiling and implementing the asset's strategic plan and marketing strategy.
Job Requirements
  • 8+ years' experience in retail property management or centre management, including a thorough understanding of retail leasing practices, legislation, procedures and terminology.
  • NSW Real Estate Certificate or Licence.
  • Strong working knowledge of building services and real estate market activities, developments and trends.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Previous use of MRI management system (or similar) is highly regarded.
  • Strong organisational and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and foster key relationships and desire to work in a highly team orientated environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
