About the Team Lead Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Helpdesk team in Adelaide.

  • Lead a team of 10 Helpdesk Technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality customer service and technical excellence.
  • Perform account administration tasks within Active Directory, Exchange, and bespoke applications to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure technical issues are resolved efficiently and effectively, meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and exceeding client expectations.
  • Develop procedures and processes for the Helpdesk, enhancing operational efficiency and staff capabilities.
  • Manage staff performance, provide training and coaching to enhance team capabilities and leadership skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet client satisfaction SLAs and resolve complex technical support requirements, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in managing/leading a team with a proven track record of success.
  • Sound knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, Intune, Windows Server, and Network troubleshooting to drive technical excellence.
  • Tertiary education in Information Technology or relevant certifications (Microsoft, Azure, VMware, Cisco, Fortinet) to underpin technical expertise.
  • Prior experience working within a Managed Service Provider or Consultancy to bring a unique perspective and set of skills.
  • Current driver's license and access to a car to facilitate on-site work and travel.
