Entry-Level IT Helpdesk Trainee

We are seeking a dedicated individual to undertake an entry-level traineeship as an IT Helpdesk Trainee.

This exciting opportunity allows you to gain practical work experience through providing efficient and effective helpdesk support to staff.

Across 24-months, you will receive paid study time towards achieving a nationally recognised Certificate IV in Information Technology.

  • Log incidents, changes, and service requests in the IT service desk system
  • Install and maintain IT hardware and software
  • Add assets and procedures into various IT management systems
  • Provide assistance and support to council projects, as required
  • Work with a mixture of Microsoft, Google, Android, and Apple technologies

  • The ability to take initiative and work hard
  • Effective prioritisation and task management skills
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • No completed Certificate IV in IT or higher (e.g. Bachelor or Masters)
  • Customer service experience is desirable
