Nando's is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the efficient and effective functioning of its Australia restaurants.

About the Role

This full-time, permanent position is based in our Restaurant Support Office in Richmond and involves regular travel across ANZ.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees by implementing industry best practices to manage resources, services, and processes in a cost-efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Strategy

  • Review and transform our facility strategy, including repairs and maintenance (R&M), preventative maintenance (PM) and relevant life-cycle requirements.

  • Analyse facilities management data, systems, and processes, and provide recommendations to enhance efficiency.

  • Maintain an effective R&M reporting system to support restaurant R&M needs.

  • Lead the Restaurant Facilities Partner to conduct and document planned routine facilities inspections to determine facilities issues and maintenance needs.

  • Ensure the timely maintenance and repair of all key restaurant equipment, fixtures, and fittings.

  • Develop and review contracts and Service Level Agreements with key supplier partners.

  • Plan and manage centralised contracts including refrigeration, HVAC systems, pest control, security, Test and Tag, fire services, and information technology.

  • Advise on, monitor, and implement environmental initiatives e.g. waste management, energy efficiency, and oversee environmental health and safety.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience

  • Extensive facilities management experience preferably within the food/restaurant/QSR sector.

  • Experience in developing and/or transforming a facilities management function.

  • Skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated project management skills ideally in construction or maintenance.

  • Knowledge

  • Able to read and interpret leases and contracts.

  • Tertiary qualifications preferred.

  • Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of HVAC technology and systems within restaurants.

  • Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
