Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to lead, develop and deliver projects in a fast-paced operational environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong project management skills and experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage small- to medium-sized projects through the design, execution, commissioning, handover and ramp-up phases.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, standards, and site requirements.
  • Provide input into strategic plans, budgets and targets, ensuring compliance for projects under your control.
  • Provide regular project progress reports to key stakeholders.
  • Cordinate operational readiness requirements with Procurement and site Warehousing and Maintenance teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a similar role in an operational environment.
  • Significant experience in project management, delivering projects up to $5M in CAPEX.
  • Proven experience in leading small teams.
  • Experience managing external engineering design and construction contractors.
  • Strong systems approach in planning/scheduling, cost control, and reporting.
  • Contemporary approach to project management tools and methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of and practical experience in all aspects of the project management lifecycle (PMBOK).
  • Tertiary qualification in mining, processing, mechanical engineering, or related discipline.
