Overview

Project Engineer - Civil and Roads, Adelaide. We're looking for a Project Engineer to join our client's team in Adelaide. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of exciting infrastructure works and develop your career within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Project Engineer – Adelaide

This is a full-time opportunity with a client dedicated to delivering high-quality civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and deliver civil and road projects in line with scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including quality and safety records.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, consultants, and clients to maintain strong communication lines.
  • Monitor compliance with project specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
  • Assist in cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in civil and road projects.
  • Demonstrated understanding of project delivery for government or private infrastructure works.
  • Experience with DIT (Department for Infrastructure and Transport) specifications is highly regarded.
  • Strong skills in project documentation, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Solid knowledge of construction methodologies, safety standards, and quality processes.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
