Job Title: Senior Project CoordinatorOverview of the Role

The position of Senior Project Coordinator exists to provide high-level administrative support to a senior executive team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and proactive advice and assistance on a broad range of matters and priorities.
  • Prepare reports and correspondence related to projects.
  • Support research and data collection activities.
  • Assist in the coordination and delivery of complex capital projects for infrastructure development.
Branch Structure and Functions

The Physical Assets Services Branch provides management services for physical assets across the state. The branch comprises six units:

  • Facilities Management Unit - Strategic asset planning and advisory services.
  • Capital Works Unit - Coordination and scheduling of project deliveries.
  • Major Projects Unit - Delivery of significant capital projects for new infrastructure.
  • Strategic Infrastructure Unit - Portfolio strategy for operational and corporate facilities.
  • Strategic Operations: Fleet and Property Stores - Management of operational and administrative fleets.
  • Contracts, Impound & Armoury Unit - Contract management for asset-related services.
Work Environment and Requirements

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment driven by a 'one team' mindset focused on achieving key objectives.

Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • A valid Australian work eligibility status.
  • Subject to a criminal history check.
  • Ability to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.
Preferred Requirements
  • Some out-of-hours work and travel may be required.
