Senior Cyber Security Governance Officer Job Description

Launch Recruitment is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Governance Officer to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for challenging, reviewing and enhancing cybersecurity posture (process, people, technology) at the Regional and Zone level, with a specific focus on the Pacific Zone.

  • This experienced leader must bring a security-first culture to everything we do while appropriately protecting and managing the risk to our customers and the company.

Please note that this is an APAC role requiring significant travel within the region, approximately 40% of the time.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Be the subject matter expert on Governance, Risk and Compliance
  2. Ensure Cybersecurity is taken as a key topic within the business for the benefit of our customers
  3. Challenge internal organizations and enhance our IT and OT cybersecurity posture (people, process, and tools)
  4. Raise awareness amongst our APAC Zone leaders
  5. Support and help animate a cybersecurity ecosystem program consisting of the wider subsidiary companies
  6. Coordinate a cybersecurity action plan with Customers, Subsidiaries, and Business representatives
  7. Management of incidents within the APAC scope, leveraging our cybersecurity posture with Customers and internally
  8. Execute security reviews, considering incidents, vulnerabilities, policies compliance, audits, security check, external scoring remediation
  9. Control and enforce security policies deployment and needed national security standards
  10. Ensure deliveries of Governance KPIs and dashboard
Requirements
  • Five years of demonstrable professional experience in IT and OT Cybersecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance role, preferably at a regional or country level for a Global Multinational Corporation
  • Preferably at least one certification as a Certified Information Security Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC) or equivalent years of demonstrable experience in a Cybersecurity Governance or Cybersecurity leadership role
  • Preferably one certification as a GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCIA) or GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or equivalent years of demonstrable experience in a Cybersecurity Defense Technical role
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Engineering/Science is mandatory. An MSc or MBA would be better
  • Experience with projects in an international manufacturing environment is preferable
  • Familiarity with ICS/OT/IoT cybersecurity concepts
  • Familiarity with security standards: ISO7001, NIST, IEC 62443
Compensation and Benefits

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
