Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Audit Manager, APAC, to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing audit engagements across various business units in Asia Pacific. Your expertise in cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance will be instrumental in ensuring the effective implementation of internal controls and risk mitigation strategies.

As a key member of our APAC Audit Services Team, you will collaborate closely with senior leaders and executive management to identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations for enhanced operational efficiency and control environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the global technology audit team on identifying risks and executing internal audits aligned with the internal audit plan
  • Lead and staff audits, providing consulting or oversight functions based on team needs
  • Manage internal audit projects related to IT General Controls (ITGC), information security/cyber, business application, and integrated business audits
  • Provide technical expertise to the IT Audit Team, utilizing sound audit practices
  • Maintain familiarity with assigned business units, including organizational structures, personnel, activities, products, new product development, financial performance, and risk and problem areas
  • Stay current on regulations, particularly in the APAC region, and design audit engagements accordingly
  • Interact and partner with Senior and Executive Management to understand business risks, changes, and other significant events affecting the business and/or audit plan
  • Participate in targeted senior-level committees and client meetings, presenting to corporate Audit and Business Risk Committees, Oversight Committees, Legal Entity Boards, and Risk Committees as required
  • Communicate with external auditors and regional risk committees to manage the Audit Plan
Requirements
  • Significant experience auditing and/or systems in the financial services industry in Australia and/or the APAC region
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines relating to Cyber Security, Information Security, Business Resilience, and Business Continuity Management
  • Solid understanding of ITGC and related processes, such as Configuration Management, Vendor Management
  • Understanding of Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) controls, including Incident Management, Problem Management
  • Skills necessary for testing application controls, such as Application Security Testing, Interface Controls
  • Skills necessary for testing information security and cybersecurity controls, including Business Continuity, Penetration Testing, Security Information and Event Monitoring, Data Security
  • Knowledge of risks associated with newer technologies, such as Infrastructure as Code, Cloud Access Management, Kubernetes, Containers, CI/CD
  • Knowledge of financial industry standards and frameworks, including NIST CSF, FFIEC, GDPR
  • Knowledge of cloud environments and related technologies, such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud
  • Professional certifications, such as CISA, CISSP, CCSP
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Strong report writing and work paper documentation skills
  • A College or University degree is preferred
About the Role
