Key Role: Financial Services Manager

The organization seeks a skilled Financial Services Manager to oversee a team of credit professionals on the Sunshine Coast. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commercial credit background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Excel.

This role offers a blend of managing client relationships, internal and external staff, analysis, and debt management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with major client accounts to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Team Leadership: Set goals and KPIs for the team, mentor, and develop team members to ensure optimum performance.
  • Operational Direction: Provide hands-on management and operational direction to the credit team.
  • Reconciliations & Reporting: Oversee reconciliations and produce monthly and year-end reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assessment: Have full control and direction of the credit assessment process – approval of limits etc.
  • Collections: Discuss escalation of debt and referral and management of process with external parties.
