This role requires strong credit management expertise, with the ability to assess and review new clients to ensure financial stability and mitigate risk with a commercial setting (not banking).
City Fringe - Hybrid Key Responsibilities:· Evaluate and assess new client applications, ensuring compliance with credit policies.· Conduct thorough credit risk analysis and make informed decisions· Monitor existing larger client accounts to identify potential risks and take proactive measures.· Collaborate with internal teams to develop risk mitigation strategies.· Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reports on credit assessments.· Manage small portfolio of debtor clients· Reporting of Doubtful/Bad Debt· Manage insolvency and legal recovery legal matters· Contribute to Receivables Management team· Mentor a small, high-performing specialist team About You:· Proven experience in credit management and credit risk assessment.· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.· Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.· Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.· Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and industry best practices.
