The role of Senior Credit Risk Strategist is critical to our organisation's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement credit risk strategies to support business objectives.
  • Lead the development of regular reporting and analysis on application trends, new originations, and portfolio outcomes.
  • Oversight of end-to-end credit acquisitions, including scorecard design, serviceability, business rules, lending origination tools, and credit engines.
  • Ensure effective monitoring is in place for credit models, lending flows, portfolio concentrations, and risk limits.

To succeed in this role, you will have 5+ years' experience in credit risk management within Financial Services. Proficiency with data extraction, manipulation, and analysis (DataBricks and SQL essential).

Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of commonly used credit tools and decision engines.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with Australian market regulations (APRA, ASIC, AFCA).
