Job Title: Field Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, as well as providing technical support to customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

This is a full-time position based in Sydney, NSW. We offer a competitive salary package, including a 4-door utility vehicle, tools, laptop, tablet, mobile, and opportunities for overtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
  • Provide technical support to customers through phone calls, emails, and on-site visits
  • Carry out machine audits to ensure equipment is functioning correctly
  • Install new machinery and assist with commissioning
Requirements:
  • Electrician with mechanical aptitude &/or mechanical trade qualification with restricted electrical license
  • Experience in electrical troubleshooting skills (Low voltage 24vdc)
  • Experience in food industry with packaging and processing equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with methodical approach to solving technical issues
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals & drawings
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
