Technical Service Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and commission new equipment to customer specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing equipment.
  • Conduct machine audits to ensure optimal performance.
  • Carry out modifications and upgrades to existing equipment.
  • Maintain effective communication with sales and technical teams.

Requirements:

  • Electrician or mechanical trade qualification with restricted electrical license.
  • Experience in electrical troubleshooting skills (Low voltage 24vdc).
  • Experience in the food industry with packaging and processing equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and methodical approach to solving technical issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals, and drawings.
  • Intermediate knowledge in MS Office and comfort using various apps/software on associated devices.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Customer-focused and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
