Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced equipment maintenance specialist to oversee the efficient operation of our branch workshop, maintaining top-quality equipment and providing exceptional service to customers.

This role requires strong technical skills, including operational repair of pumps and generators, as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work conditions. The successful candidate will be able to work autonomously, as part of a team, and lead in various aspects of the role.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in a similar field, with a proven track record of equipment maintenance and servicing. They will also possess excellent time management skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work a rotating Saturday roster.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform operational repairs on pumps and generators while ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Oversee the efficient operation of the branch workshop, including maintenance, ordering of parts, and task allocations.
  • Provide support to other branches within the network for hire equipment utilization and repair as required.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar field or role.
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and work conditions.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of pumps and generators.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to work a rotating Saturday roster.
