Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment, including mechanical conveyors, gearboxes, blowers, and silos, as well as general equipment such as boilers and production equipment.

You will also need to have a good understanding of electrical systems, including IT-controlled production equipment, to coordinate maintenance requirements with contractors and site electrical contractors.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on Fitter who can tackle daily breakdowns of various equipment, including trucks and forklifts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining equipment through repair and maintenance as required
  • Coordinating spare parts and resources with suppliers
  • Maintaining adequate stock of essential spare parts on site
  • Upkeep of site workshop as required

Key Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail
