Quality Improvement Specialist

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the quality enhancement processes in aged care. As a Quality Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting Residence Managers in maintaining systems and processes, conducting audits and reporting, and contributing to the overall quality improvement efforts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Residence Managers in ensuring systems and processes are maintained and up-to-date.
  • Conducting regular audits and providing timely reports to stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with teams to identify areas for quality improvement and implementing strategies to address these areas.
  • Providing education and training to staff on accreditation standards and quality issues.
  • Mentoring colleagues to develop their understanding of aged care quality and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Strong knowledge of Aged Care Act, Standards, Guidelines, and Regulations.
  • Adaptable, passionate, and willing to learn.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
