Job Title: Aged Care Program Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Aged Care Program Specialist to join our team in NSW and ACT. As a key member of our Service Delivery Division, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of aged care programs across the region.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to contribute to the development and implementation of aged care programs that improve the lives of older Australians.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, coordination, and evaluation of aged care programs in NSW and ACT;
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, service providers, and community organizations;
  • Contribute to policy development and program design to ensure alignment with departmental goals and objectives;
  • Provide technical expertise and advice to support the implementation of aged care programs;
  • Collaborate with regional teams to identify opportunities for improving local aged care system challenges.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of aged care policies, programs, and services;
  • Experience working in the aged care sector, preferably in a program coordination or management role;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
