About the Role
The Senior Research Associate in Carbon Science will play a key role in revolutionizing renewable energy generation and clean chemical production using carbon catalysts as alternatives to critical minerals.
This position is part of the ARC-supported project that aims to develop new catalysis pathways for sustainable energy and chemical production. As a member of our research team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and innovation in the field of carbon science.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, synthesis, and characterization of novel carbon-based catalysts for renewable energy applications
- Investigate the catalytic properties of carbon materials for efficient energy conversion and storage
- Collaborate with researchers from various disciplines to integrate carbon catalysts into real-world applications
- Develop and maintain high-quality research records, reports, and publications
Requirements
- PhD degree in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or relevant fields
- Proven track record of research excellence and publication in top-tier journals
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience in collaborative research environments
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a laboratory setting
