Job Opportunity:

Casual Facilities Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Casual Facilities Team Leader to oversee the efficient management of our operations.

  • Work collaboratively with various departments to achieve business objectives
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards
  • Pursue cost-saving measures to enhance operational efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist chefs with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed
  • Help with the receiving and storage of goods in a safe and organized manner
  • Use chemicals correctly and assist other departments with their chemical needs

Focus Areas:

  • Maintain crockery and cutlery according to HACCP guidelines
  • Provide excellent customer service when required
  • Collaborate with management on workplace health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives
  • Participate in investigations of workplace injuries and illnesses
  • Report workplace hazards and facilitate corrective actions
  • Wear and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary
  • Operate safety and emergency equipment properly
  • Report workplace hazards and injuries promptly

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial
  • A strong understanding of HACCP guidelines is essential
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE usage is required
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary
