Senior Mental Health Clinician Job Description

The Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Service is a specialist perinatal mental health service for parents and their infants. We are seeking a clinician to provide time-limited, intensive specialist perinatal and infant mental health support.

This temporary opportunity allows the successful candidate to work in the PIMHS Service, focusing on client-centered care, passion, and enthusiasm to support parents of infants experiencing significant mental health issues.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level clinical advice and guidance to multidisciplinary teams on perinatal and infant mental health issues.
  • Develop education tools or programs to support others in providing excellent service delivery.
  • Collaborate with families, carers, and healthcare providers to develop individualized plans promoting optimal health outcomes.
  • Apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgment when dealing with novel, complex, or critical situations.
