About the Role

This Child Welfare Manager position plays a critical role in ensuring the highest level of care for children and young people in our Out Of Home Care services.

You will lead a team of support workers, providing excellent support, supervision and management to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

  • Provide effective leadership and management to the team, including coaching, mentoring and performance management">
  • Develop and implement high-quality programs and services that meet the needs of our clients">
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services">
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed">

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including $124,100 - $143,900 per annum, plus benefits such as salary packaging options, professional development opportunities and a dynamic work environment.

  • Relevant experience in child welfare or a related field, with a strong understanding of the principles and practices of Out Of Home Care">
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders">
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team">
  • Current Drivers' License and willingness to travel">
  • Vaccinated against Covid-19">
