Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and administrative skilled individual to join our team as a Child Care Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing enrolments, family accounts, and the centre's waiting list using the software XAP. They will also be responsible for general accounting tasks, responding to email and phone queries, and assisting the Director with a range of tasks including filing and record keeping.

The Role

The Child Care Administrator will be the friendly point of contact for families and will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and enhancing positive internal and external relationships. They will work closely with the Director and other staff members to ensure the efficient operation of the service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage enrolments, family accounts, and the centre's waiting list using the software XAP
  • Perform general accounting tasks
  • Respond to email and phone queries
  • Assist the Director with a range of tasks including filing and record keeping
  • Establish, maintain, and enhance positive internal and external relationships
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A collaborative team approach
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to establish, maintain, and enhance positive internal and external relationships
  • A positive and 'can do' attitude
  • Previous experience and/or a relevant qualification
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
