Intro Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading Government Construction business to find an experienced Project Administration Officer to support their organisation.
**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to Project Managers and Superintendents. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing document control, project work requests, and budgeting activities.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage document control systems, including Aconex, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Process project work requests and create project numbers as required.
- Enter and maintain forecast and approved project budgets.
- Perform monthly billing activities, including reviewing unbilled costs and investigating billing issues.
- Regularly review and audit system data to identify inaccuracies.
- Review and validate contractor transmittals and follow up with contractors to resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure high standards of accuracy when compiling documents and reports.
- Participate in regular program update meetings to confirm the currency and accuracy of program-related data.
- Provide support to Project Managers to highlight issues of poor or inaccurate project profitability.
- Maintain records and files in accordance with records management procedures.
- Reconcile and close projects in a timely manner.
- Process and record key information in corporate systems, including Ellipse, SHE, SAIMS, and other in-house databases.
- Prepare accurate and timely regular and ad-hoc program reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also have experience in administrative support, preferably in the construction industry.
