Commercial Manager Position Overview">

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Commercial Manager, playing a pivotal role in subcontractor contract management. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring alignment with commercial standards and broader regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years managing large-scale projects, preferably in the energy, infrastructure or construction sectors. They will possess demonstrated experience in contract management for EPC, D&C or LTSA contracts, proven expertise in contract negotiation and project risk management.

Key responsibilities include leading commercial governance during the project phase, collaborating closely with the project team, legal, engineering, sales leads and procurement. This will involve closing commercial negotiations with suppliers and governing the subcontract execution.

The Commercial Manager will also provide guidance and practical support in claims, EOT, contract correspondence and contract administration. Additionally, they will actively manage contractual risks and opportunities, assist in dispute matters with all relevant parties within the organisation and build strong relationships with our subcontractors.

Some ad hoc travel may be required domestically. The successful candidate will be proficient in project management practices, have exceptional organisational and time management skills and demonstrate experience to autonomously contract manage complex agreements.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years managing large-scale projects
  • Demonstrated experience in contract management for EPC, D&C or LTSA contracts
  • Proven expertise in contract negotiation and project risk management
  • Proficient in project management practices
