Job Role:

The Finance Manager oversees all financial aspects of the Commercial Construction business segment. They report directly to the Finance Business Partner - Construction & Retail and manage a team of finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Control: Develop internal controls/processes around job estimating, work-in-progress, cost management, and progress claims.
  • Tender Management: Assist operational teams with tender submission requirements.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze job variances and identify areas for future improvement.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare annual 3-way budgets (P&L, Cashflow & Balance Sheet) and ongoing 3-way forecasts for monthly business units/segment rolling annual and long-term forecasts.
  • Cash Flow Management: Analyze and explain variations to forecast working capital requirements and approve weekly AP payments ensuring key suppliers are paid within time.
