Job Title: Accounts Officer

This is a senior role responsible for managing day-to-day finance operations. As an experienced accounts officer, you will be working closely with external accountants and overseeing payroll, compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer payroll, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Manage BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Fuel Tax Credits, and Superannuation obligations, maintaining the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, track expenditure, and support cashflow forecasting, providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
  • Approve and allocate expenses across business units and locations, ensuring efficient use of company resources.
  • Oversee supplier purchase orders, accounts payable, and accounts receivable (120–200 transactions per day), minimizing any potential risks or disruptions.
  • Undertake reconciliations, including accounts, clearing accounts, and corporate credit cards, maintaining a high level of transparency and accountability.
