Senior Cloud Data Scientist

We are seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Data Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our Professional Services team, you will work with clients on short to medium term customer engagements on their Machine Learning & AI challenges using the Databricks Data Intelligent platform.

The ideal candidate will have experience in ML Engineer or Data Scientist role preferably in a customer-facing post-sales, technical architecture of consulting role. You will be responsible for providing data science and cloud technology projects that require integrating with client systems, training, and other technical tasks to help customers get the most value out of their data.

You will work on impactful data science and machine learning use cases, including building solution architecture, MLOPs frameworks, MVPs, and production-grade applications. Additionally, you will guide strategic customers as they implement transformational data science and Generative AI projects, including end-to-end design, build, and deployment of industry-leading and AI applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain production-grade cloud infrastructure that supports the deployment of ML applications.
  • Design and deploy impactful data science and machine learning use cases.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience with latest techniques in machine learning and Generative AI processing, including vector databases, fine-tuning LLMs, and deploying LLMs with tools such as HuggingFace, Langchain, and OpenAI.
  • Comfortable writing code in either Python or Scala.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
