Job Opportunity: Clinical Coordinator Adult Survivors

The establishment and implementation of NSW Health's new Adult Survivors Program relies on the expertise of a skilled Clinical Coordinator. This role is pivotal in providing advanced clinical, strategic, educational, and programmatic leadership to support adult survivors of child sexual abuse with complex needs.

This position requires a deep understanding of social work principles, extensive postgraduate clinical experience, and exceptional negotiation, decision-making, and advocacy skills. The ideal candidate will be able to provide high-level clinical advice, education, and supervision while working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Key responsibilities include leading the establishment of local clinical networks, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with relevant clinical streams, clinicians, and services within the LHD, and facilitating partnerships between services/streams to improve service delivery and coordination.

The Clinical Coordinator will play a vital role in enhancing service delivery, providing clinical supervision around violence, abuse, and neglect issues, and promoting ongoing quality improvement activities.
