Job Description

Senior Stormwater Engineer Design is responsible for creating liveable, safe and sustainable environments through the design of stormwater infrastructure and catchment management across the North West Growth Area.

  • Contribute to creating a liveable, safe and sustainable environment through the design of stormwater infrastructure and catchment management.
  • Complete allocated civil designs and tasks in accordance with professional engineering standards.
  • Assist in providing input into strategic documents such as reviews of Local Environmental Plans, State Environmental Planning Policies, Development control plans and policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years post-qualification experience in the survey, investigation and design of stormwater management infrastructure and cost estimates.
  • Working experience in civil stormwater engineering with a focus on water sensitive urban design.
  • Managing financial budgets with inclusion of forecasting.
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations.
  • Experience in managing GIS packages, computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications and design experience with AutoCAD, 12D and water engineering applications.
