Design Engineer Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team. As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative stormwater solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing high-quality stormwater models and designs to ensure specifications, costing, planning, and delivery of stormwater management systems meet relevant regulations.
  • Collaborating closely with internal presales engineers, engineering, and production personnel within a national team.
  • Utilizing AutoCAD and MUSIC modelling software for design tasks, with training offered for the latter.
  • Maintaining compliance with Local/State/federal codes and accepted engineering practices in all specifications and designs.
  • Communicating effectively with contractors, engineers, surveyors, and government agencies regarding engineering, surveying, or construction issues.
  • Representing our company professionally at events, conferences, and client sites.
  • Engaging in training, learning, and coordination with internal engineering and technical support staff.
  • Developing a close working relationship with the Engineering Manager and the rest of the team.
  • Modeling and completing stormwater quality designs for our products and services.
About Your Qualifications
  • Possessing a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Holding 0–4 years of experience, with at least 2–3 years of engineering design skill experience in AutoCAD and, if possible, stormwater modelling software MUSIC (training offered).
  • Demonstrating previous design experience.
  • Having preferably experience in stormwater/wastewater projects.
  • Exhibiting a positive work attitude and drive to succeed.
