Design Engineer Opportunity

This role presents a chance to contribute to ocean conservation efforts by providing high-quality design solutions.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, utilizing excellent communication skills and a team player approach.

The ideal candidate will have up to 4 years of experience in engineering or a related field, with prior experience in stormwater/wastewater projects preferred.

Responsibilities include maintaining specifications and designs in compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations.

Effective communication with contractors, engineers, surveyors, and government agencies is essential.

A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.

Key qualifications include problem-solving skills, effective verbal and written communication, and proficiency in AutoCAD and water modelling tools like Music.

Job Description:

  1. Collaborate with a national team to provide design solutions for internal and external customers.
  2. Work closely with presales engineers, engineers, and production personnel to deliver high-quality results.
  3. Develop stormwater models and designs that meet regulatory requirements and facilitate state-of-the-art stormwater management systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Up to 4 years of experience in engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player approach.
  • Prior experience in stormwater/wastewater projects (preferred).
  • Maintenance of specifications and designs in compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and water modelling tools like Music.
  • Civil engineering principles, practices, and methods, particularly applicable to Storm Water Drainage Systems.
  • Public works engineering and Storm Water Drainage System operations.
  • Knowledge of current codes and regulatory standards for regional engineering activities in stormwater construction, renovations, and maintenance projects.
