Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing high-quality stormwater models and designs that meet the needs of our clients.

The Design Engineer will work closely with our multidisciplinary national team, including internal presales engineers, engineering, and production personnel to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing high-quality stormwater models and designs
  • Liaising with internal and external customers to ensure specifications and designs meet their needs
  • Maintaining active communication with contractors, engineers, surveyors, and government agencies for any engineering, surveying, or construction issues
  • Representing the company in a professional manner at events, conferences, and client sites

Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are essential for success in this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related engineering field
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand and follow complex written and oral instructions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with drafting software such as AutoCAD and water modelling tools like Music

Prior experience in stormwater management systems and civil engineering principles is preferred but not required.
