About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will play a crucial role in laying the foundation for our success by engaging with existing and new contacts associated with high-value accounts.

Your primary responsibility will be to connect with these targeted contacts using the best possible messaging, refine our Go-to-Market approach, and act as the foundational entry-point for our customers. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the fundamentals of sales and work with a product-centric team that is perfecting a newer technology sales engine.

This full-time role is based in our Sydney office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. You will have the option to work from home on Mondays and Wednesdays, with standard in-office days being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Achieve and exceed weekly/monthly metrics by converting leads with the highest buying propensity into sales-qualified opportunities to generate pipeline for Asana revenue org.
  • Prospect into leads through various channels, including outbound calls, email, and social media, while adhering to KPIs such as talk time, speed to lead, meetings set, sales-qualified opportunities, and pipeline.
  • Conduct pre-discovery qualification calls and manage AE hand-off process.
  • Participate in team meetings as the subject matter expert for funnel activity within key accounts, providing insights to cross-functional peers.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences for Asana's prospective customers.
  • Conduct qualification meetings with new prospects and set up discovery meetings with ICP-qualified prospects.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activity and prospect information in Salesforce.

**Requirements:**

  • At least 6 months of experience in inbound or outbound sales development within APAC markets with an interest in growing into a career in software sales (SaaS).
  • Passion for technology and ability to speak knowledgeably about the industry.
  • Excellent writing skills with attention to grammar and tone.
  • Clear communication, empathy, and commitment to integrity.
  • Analytical thinker able to diagnose inefficiencies and optimize processes to maximize results.
