Job Description

As a Client Solutions Engineer, you will be instrumental in growing existing clients and establishing new business by providing tailored technical advice and bespoke solutions. You will work on scoping new business, SaaS deployments, product expansion, and internal initiatives to enable customers to organize, monetize, and report against their multi-faceted media sales strategies.

This role requires an experienced professional who can communicate complex ideas to various audiences, from developers to executives. You will need to draw upon your experience and creativity to ensure the success of our most demanding client initiatives, often addressing requirements that have never been asked before.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the technical execution of our most demanding client initiatives
  • Design, implement, and document business and technical solutions for new client prospects, based on translating business requirements directly from customers and prospects
  • Understand and speak to existing media monetization strategies of prospects and clients to deliver effective and elegant solutions to address identified needs or pain points
  • Address major escalations and client-wide difficulties, assist in product use case expansions, and clarify appropriate resolution paths for new or unclear use cases
  • Act as a primary liaison between Account, Product, and Engineering teams for ongoing technical support
  • Provide training to internal teams and occasionally to clients and partners
  • Support multiple regional clients in a proactive manner, collaborating closely with regional account and revenue stakeholders

Requirements:

  • More than 2 years of experience in Adtech, MarTech, or similar experience
  • Experience with end-to-end programmatic ad serving workflows, emphasizing sell-side platforms and the latest protocols employed therein
  • Technical roles with heavy client-facing presence
  • Proven track record of working independently from management with local and globally distributed teams
  • Strong communication skills, capable of explaining how technology solves business problems to any audience
  • Ability to set work priorities and manage one's time effectively
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Working knowledge of web/mobile technologies, HTTP, and other Application Layer protocols
  • Understanding of standards set by the IAB, VAST/VMAP, Open RTB, etc
  • Knowledge of streaming protocols (e.g., HLS, DASH) and systems that employ them
  • Scripting and database languages; PHP, Python, Javascript, SQL, etc
  • Data and BI platforms: Snowflake, BigQuery, etc
  • Prior experience within a technical role somewhere within the programmatic video supply chain (preference given to SSP and Ad Serving)
